The Pepper Steak Pie is made with juicy chunks of beef shoulder, caramelized onion, loads of cracked black pepper and fresh thyme, slow braised in a rich dark brandy sauce, encased in a light flaky puff pastry and rich buttery shortcrust pastry base. These hand pies are generously sized, so you've got a fast weekday meal for one, or an easy group dinner dish ready in a flash.

Beef, beef stock, onion, thyme, black pepper, salt, brandy, egg, puff pastry, shortcrust pastry, egg.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Place the frozen pies on a baking sheet, and egg wash the tops. Place pies in preheated oven, and bake for 45 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.Your pies must reach an internal temperature of 165°F or higher for safe consumption.
Pies are frozen and carefully packaged in insulated boxes with gel packs. Maximum of two day shipping required as the pies are perishable. Upon receipt, store the pies in the freezer where they will keep up to 1 year. Keep frozen until ready to bake.
