Chicken Chile Verde Pie

Bursting with flavor, our Chile Verde pies are layered with tender chicken, potato, and fresh jalapeños with a tangy tomatillo cilantro sauce wrapped in a traditional empanada pastry. Dip into your favorite hot sauce for an extra kick, or lime crema for a cool compliment. ¡Vamos!

Details

Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the frozen pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and egg wash the tops. Place pies in the preheated oven, and bake for 35 – 40 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown on top and bottom. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Your pies must reach an internal temperature of 165°F or higher for safe consumption.

Upon receipt, store the pies in the freezer where they will keep up to 1 year.
