Country Chicken Pie
Our interpretation of a traditional chicken pot pie. The Country Chicken Pie is made with roast chicken, carrots, and fresh herbs in a creamy white wine sauce, encased in a shortcrust base and a puff pastry top.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Place the frozen pies on a baking sheet, and egg wash the tops. Place pies in preheated oven, and bake for 45 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Your pies must reach an internal temperature of 165°F or higher for safe consumption.
Pies are frozen and carefully packed in temperature-controlled packaging and kept frozen using dry ice. Please note: the dry ice may evaporate completely during transit.
Upon receipt, store the pies in the freezer where they will keep up to 1 year.
Keep frozen until ready to bake.
Ingredients: chicken, shortcrust pastry (enriched unbleached flour, butter (cream, natural flavor), kosher salt, lemon juice), puff pastry (enriched flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), palm and soybean oil, water, salt, monocalcium phosphate), onion, heavy cream, celery, carrots, less than 2% of: white wine, butter (cream, natural flavor), enriched unbleached flour, olive oil, kosher salt, tarragon, lemon juice, lemon zest, spice.
